Partners Brno University of Technology, University of Tartu and Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences win EU project for Strategic Partnership on Digital Transformation

Bingo – we got it! 16 out of 59 projects were accepted for EU funding, and we’re in! the consortium partners from the Czech Republic, Estonia and Germany are all cheers when starting their first project meeting in Bielefeld Germany. The project funded by the EU’s Erasmus Plus program line Strategic Partnerships is to focus on the digital transformation of business models and universities and mutual co-operation. How businesses need to change and how universities need to adjust to become ‘change agents’ for regional companies will be topics of research and debate. Joint working groups will examine new digital technologies such as Blockchain, Big Data and Smart Contracts and develop tools and appropriate Management curricula for a joint Master’s program to be offered by the three universities. The emphasis is on learning from each other and on creating concepts and applications supporting digital transformation. As the profiles of the three partner universities nicely complement each other the project can count on a healthy mix of competencies.
