Blockchain and smart contracts are innovative digital methodologies allowing real-time processing of business transactions without the use of an intermediary. Though originating in the legal and financial sectors, they have a wide application potential in other business areas.
The guidepaper is to provide

- a technology assessment study for the application of blockchain and smart contracts in business and other organisational processes (potential, disruptive impact, risks)

- guidelines for the implementation and application of these innovative technologies in business organizations
